The Hoops boss cut a frustrated figure on the Tony Macaroni Arena touchline this afternoon as his players could only muster up a 0-0 draw with newly-promoted Livi, with the home side furiously battling for their point.
The result means Celtic still go to the top of the Premiership table on goal difference, and have a game in-hand, but Rodgers reckons his players should’ve been playing against 10 for a significant chunk of the proceedings, after Menga appeared to aggressively throw his head towards Ryan Christie’s:
🗣 Brendan Rodgers says Dolly Menga should have been sent off in their 0-0 draw with Livingston.
He says he doesn’t think Craig Gordon will be fit for Scotland because of a knee and hip injury.
Rodgers thinks Kristoffer Ajer has broken his eye socket and will need surgery.

As he spoke to the club’s in-house media after the full-time whistle, Rodgers also confirmed Ajer’s injury, revealing the Norwegian had suffered a broken eye socket:

Do you think Menga deserved a red card for his actions? And will Ajer be badly missed by Celtic?
