Scotland’s Oli McBurnie took part in a fans’ Q&A at Swansea recently – and revealed the reason he wears his socks low down his shin and who his football inspiration is.

The Swans striker has had a brilliant start to the season under new manager Graham Potter, establishing himself as the number one frontman in a talented, young team.

He’s also made the breakthrough into the Scotland national team over the last year and much is expected of him moving forward.

But given McBurnie has played all of his career so far down in England, Scottish fans know very little about him as a person.
