The Gers crashed to their first European defeat in 12 matches under Gerrard after leading three times in their Europa League tie with Spartak Moscow, with a brilliant finish from Daniel Candeias not enough to secure even a point.
After the full-time whistle, Gerrard was obviously livid with how his players represented themselves in the match, and whilst he remained calm and articulate, he didn’t hold back when giving his thoughts on the frustrating 90 minutes:
"Under-12s and under-13s normally can clear the ball with either foot…" 👀

Rangers now host Motherwell and Livingston in the Premiership before welcoming Villarreal to Ibrox on November 29 for what now looks like a make-or-break fixture.
What do you think of Gerrard’s comments, and did Rangers really defend that poorly?
And will they still make it into the competition’s knockout phase?
