Alfredo Morelos Says He Dreams of Playing in England and He Expects January Transfer Offers

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has reiterated his desire to play in the English Premier League, whilst admitting he expects there to be offers for his services in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been the Ibrox club’s standout performer this season and bagged his 20th goal of the campaign in yesterday’s 1-1 draw at home to Hibs, and his manager Steven Gerrard has openly stated that his team rely on the Colombian international far too much for his goals.

And it appears Morelos’s impressive campaign has caught the attention of some other clubs, perhaps in the English top-flight.

Speaking in an interview in his homeland with Blu Radio’s Blog Deportivo programme, via the Daily Record, the forward explained: “It’s very likely there are several teams looking at me and that there will be offers, but there is nothing concrete yet.

“I have to wait until the last game of the year is played and will try to end 2018 in a positive way.

“My dream is to play in the English Premier League. It’s very similar to the football in Scotland.”

“The national team is very important to me. It’s in my mind all the time.

“I know that if I continue like this by scoring goals with Rangers, a new opportunity will come. I am aware that if I do things right, the call will come.”

Of course, it was this time last year that there were rumours of a bid from China for Morelos, but surely his value to Rangers has risen since then?

Do you think there’s any chance he could be sold next month?
