Celtic Fans Split Over Rumours of a Move for Swansea City Striker Wilfried Bony

Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony has been linked with a move to Celtic – but a fair chunk of the Parkhead club’s supporters are far from convinced the potential deal would make much sense.

Previously a £30 million signing for Manchester City, Bony has struggled for fitness in the English Championship this season and has made just three appearances for the Swans, the last of which came in November.

On top of that, the 30-year-old has also failed to find the back of the net in a competitive senior match since scoring in an FA Cup match against Wolves on January 17 of this year – almost a full 12 months ago.

However, the Scotsman seem to reckon Brendan Rodgers has his eye on a potential raid on his former club, with Bony seen as a potential mentor for Odsonne Edouard.

When free of injury, there’s no doubt Bony can be a handful for opposition defences, and he’d almost definitely score goals in Scotland, but his fitness records and allegedly high wages have left plenty of fans unconvinced:

Do you think Bony could be the physically imposing striker Celtic have been looking for?
