Dedryck Boyata Teases Celtic Fans Over a New Contract on Instagram

Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata has teased supporters on social media over the possibility of him signing a new deal with the Parkhead club.

The Belgian centre-back is out-of-contract in the summer, and had been expected to depart the club either when the January transfer window opens or in the summer after the end of the season.

But following Sunday’s Betfred Cup Final victory over Aberdeen, Boyata took to his Instagram story to post a clip of him appearing to survey a contract – whilst watching the cartoon Dragonball Z.

Since missing the club’s crucial Champions League qualifiers in September, Boyata has been in brilliant form for the Hoops and plenty of fans would love him to sign an extension, and his latest social media update has gotten a few wondering if he’s about to do a spectacular 180 degree turn:

Do you think Boyata will end up staying at Celtic, or will he be tempted back to the English Premier League at the hint of a big offer?
