Jurgen Klopp Gives a Very Classy Response to Jose Mourinho’s Sacking

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given a very classy take on Jose Mourinho‘s sacking as Man Utd boss, insisting the Portuguese coach remains one of football’s serial winners.

Mourinho was given the boot at United’s Carrington training complex this morning, just two days after watching his side be crushed by Klopp’s free-flowing Liverpool at Anfield, bringing to an end his turbulent 31-month stay at Old Trafford.

Mourinho is known to be something of a surly and arrogant character at times, and only last week was pointing out the fact that Klopp is yet to win a single trophy since moving to Merseyside.

However, rather than taking the golden opportunity of gloating back, Klopp decided to take the High Road after being informed of the news earlier today:

He might have a smaller trophy cabinet, but Klopp definitely seems to have plenty of humility stored up in reserve, eh?

It’s pretty tough to imagine Jose reacting in a similar vein to a rival getting sacked, right?
