Manchester United have been drawn against PSG in the last-16 of the Champions League – and their supporters are absolutely terrified at the prospect of such a daunting tie.
Having made it through the group stages ahead of Valencia and behind Juventus, United were rewarded with a glamorous tie at today’s draw in Switzerland, and will welcome the cash-rich Parisians to Old Trafford for the first-leg at the end of February.
But considering the Red Devils are currently enduring their worst start to a season in Premier League history, the prospect of coming up against one of the most fearsome attacks in European football is not something a lot of fans are relishing:
I’m not even joking we could get destroyed. I remember when Bayern player Barca and beat them on aggregate 7-0.
Neymar and Mbappe at OT tho👀

It maybe the last time we will be in UCL draw at least for 3 years 😥— MeMoUtD (@MemoUTD) December 17, 2018
I saw the BBC claimed this would be the first competitive meeting between the two teams. Unless Jose’s sacked by then, it’s hard to imagine it would be competitive…

I can see #Jones scoring the Own Goal already. Out of sheer fear.
Also, #Woodward if you are listening, imagine #Mbappe & #Neymar versus #Jones & #Smalling. Shivers right? Yeah…

Given we still have the January transfer window before these two teams meet, do you think there’s any prospect at all that United could somehow pull off a coup and eliminate the French champions?
