Shay Logan Hits Out at Recent Racist Incidents Involving Fans

Shay Logan has hit out at recent racist incidents involving supporters.

The Aberdeen defender took to his Twitter last night to share a tweet about racist abuse he suffered at Ibrox during his side’s game against Rangers on Wednesday night.

This comes days after a video was widely shared online showing someone – allegedly an Aberdeen fan – racially abusing Scott Sinclair as he took a penalty in Sunday’s Betfred Cup Final.

Sinclair has since shared that video on his social media channels and condemned the supporter for his actions.

Now Logan has followed up on it, insisting that Aberdeen fan should be banned for life – and shared some of his own battles with racism:

Logan did follow it up with a celebratory tweet about Aberdeen’s 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox too:

A solitary Scott McKenna goal was enough to give Derek McInnes’ men the victory at Ibrox – the ideal result to bounce back from the weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Celtic at Hampden.

Now the Dons will take on St Johnstone at Pittodrie tomorrow and hope they can get a result that would take them up the table.
