Umar Sadiq Doesn’t Look Too Disappointed After Rangers Loan Ends Early

Umar Sadiq doesn’t look too disappointed after his loan spell at Rangers was ended early this week.

The Nigerian striker has been at the Ibrox club since joining on a season-long loan in the summer.

Much was expected of him considering he was joining from Roma and had spells at Bologna, Torino and NAC Breda to his name as well as some Nigerian Under 23 international caps.

But Sadiq has ended up a disappointing signing, starting just one game – the 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup semi-final.

Sadiq looked poor in that game and will be remembered for his controversial dive in the box when well placed to score in that game against Aberdeen.

Anyway, it’s been confirmed that he’s returned to Roma – but he doesn’t look too disappointed about leaving Ibrox early, judging by his Instagram page.

He posted this earlier today:

And he added this to his Instagram Story last night:

If Sadiq is disappointed about Rangers cutting him less than halfway through is loan then he’s got a funny way of showing it.
