Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has attempted to make up for the club’s exit from the Champions League last week by turning into Santa Claus – and personally delivering shirts to the club’s supporters.

The Italian side were drawn in a group of death with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and the uber-rich PSG, and put up a pretty good fight of making it to the knockout stages.

However, Liverpool managed to hold onto a 1-0 win at Anfield last Wednesday, meaning they progressed in second place in the section, leaving Ancelotti calling he and his players ‘assholes’.

Now that the dust is settled, the ex-Chelsea and Real Madrid boss appears to be back to his jovial self, and he’s been making the day of plenty of supporters in Naples:

Having dropped into the Europa League, Napoli will take on FC Zurich in the last-32, and they’ll definitely be amongst the favourites for the trophy.

But what do you think of Ancelotti’s PR stunt? Should British clubs do more things like this?
