Video: Gianfranco Zola Admits Chelsea Are Interested in Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson

Chelsea are definitely interested in signing Bournemouth’s in-form striker Callum Wilson, according to the club’s assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.

Zola will be in the home dugout tonight alongside Maurizio Sarri for the EFL Cup quarter-final against the Cherries, with Wilson hoping to fire his side to the last-four of the competition against all the odds.

The 26-year-old pacey forward has been hampered by several serious injuries in recent seasons, including two torn ACLs, but he’s been flying for most of this campaign and recently won his first senior cap for England.

With 10 goals in 19 appearances in all competitions, Wilson has been linked with a move away from the Vitality Stadium in the January transfer window, and speaking to the media ahead of kick-off tonight, Zola made no secret of his side’s interest:

Do you think Wilson is exactly the type of striker that would do well at Chelsea? And how much would he cost?
