Video: Jamie Carragher Reckons Marco Silva is Everton’s Version of Mauricio Pochettino

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has claimed Everton boss Marco Silva can be the Toffees’ very own version of Tottenham’s manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Silva has gotten off to a decent start at Goodison Park since moving there last summer, with the Merseyside club currently sitting in seventh position, just behind Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

But in order to break into the top-six spots and qualify for Europe, Liverpool legend Carragher reckons the Portuguese coach needs to take a leaf out of Pochettino’s book.

Spurs are currently in the Champions League for the third consecutive season after struggling to qualify at all under several managers before Pochettino, and speaking ahead of Everton v Watford on tonight’s edition of Monday Night Football, Carragher explained his thesis on Silva:

What do you think of Carragher’s comments?

Do you think Silva is already showing signs of being able to replicate Pochettino’s achievements at Everton?
