Video: Steven Gerrard Says Dons Defeat ‘Not Good Enough’ and Admits Gers Stars ‘Lost Control’

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has hammered his players after the 1-0 defeat at home to Aberdeen, whilst admitting some of his stars lost control in-front of the Ibrox crowd.

Gerrard went into tonight’s clash with an unbeaten record at home as Gers boss but that bubble has been burst after Scott McKenna’s solitary goal decided a frantic contest in Govan.

One of the biggest talking points of the match was the red card for Alfredo Morelos in the second-half, after the Colombian carelessly threw a forearm in the direction of Graeme Shinnie and Gerrard has conceded he wasn’t happy with his side’s level of control:

Rangers are up against Dundee at Dens Park on Sunday, before hosting Hamilton at Ibrox, as they look to keep alive their title challenge before welcoming Celtic on December 29.
