Video: Steven Gerrard Says He Wasn’t Satisfied After Hamilton Win & Bemoans ‘Killer Instinct’

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has admitted he wasn’t satisfied after today’s win over Hamilton Accies, and bemoaned his side’s lack of a killer instinct in the final third.

The Gers boss watched from the sidelines as a third minute goal from Daniel Candeias was enough to seal all three points this afternoon, despite a string of chances for the home side.

In the end, the 1-0 victory sends Rangers back to the top of the Premiership, ahead of Kilmarnock and arch-rivals Celtic, but Gerrard wasn’t too keen on worrying about the current table too much, and insists his players need to do better in terms of finishing:

Given Ovie Ejaria has left the club and is heading back to Liverpool, do Rangers need significant investment in their attacking options during the January transfer window?

Could youth team striker Andy Dallas, or the returning Carlos Pena, make the crucial difference?
