Valencia director Mateu Alemany has admitted he can’t wait to visit Celtic Park in February, describing the home of the Scottish champions as a ‘mythical’ venue.
The Hoops were pitted against the La Liga giants in the last-32 of the Europa League during yesterday’s draw in Swizterland, with the first-leg being played in Glasgow on February 14.
As two-time Champions League finalists, and one of the biggest teams in Spanish football, Los Che are used to visiting some of football’s most iconic cathedrals, but Alemany has never had the opportunity to sample Parkhead on a famous European night – and he can’t wait to put that right in the New Year:

Valencia have endured something of a tough start to their domestic campaign, having won just three of their 16 games so far this season, but they’ll still definitely be considered favourites to progress from the tie.
What do you think of the draw, and Alemany’s comments?
