Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was sent off against Aberdeen tonight after a ridiculously stupid clash with Graeme Shinnie, as the Colombian international’s discipline falls into the spotlight once again.
Trailing 1-0 to the Dons after a early Scott McKenna goal, Rangers were chasing the game in the second-half, when Morelos inexplicably threw his forearm in the direction of Shinnie, who was sent dramatically sprawling to the floor.
Morelos was already on a yellow card, and he gave the referee the perfect opportunity to brandish him another after this heated moment:

With 17 goals this season, Morelos is the top-scorer in the Premiership, and is unquestionably a brilliant young player, but Steven Gerrard will have every right to be absolutely furious with the 22-year-old after that, won’t he?
Given his discipline was called into question after the weekend’s win over Hearts, what does Gerrard have to do to get through to Morelos and make him keep a cool head?
