Mislintat arrived at the North London club in 2018 from Borussia Dortmund, and he came with one of the best reputations for unearthing exciting young talent in Europe.
In the summer, the German scout was credited with helping find teenage midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from the French second division, but he’ll now be searching for players on behalf of another club from now on.
In a short statement on their official website, Arsenal revealed Mislintat will depart on February 8, with no official reason or explanation offered for the decision – much to the sheer annoyance of Gooners all over the country and beyond:

What do you think of the news, and is this just more evidence of the debilitating affect owner Stan Kroenke has on affairs at the club?
