Celtic Fan Claims He Almost Clashed With Alfredo Morelos in Tenerife

A Celtic fan claims he almost clashed with Alfredo Morelos while poolside in Tenerife earlier.

Rangers are currently out in the Spanish city for some warm weather training during the winter break.

And it looks like they got an opportunity for some down time today, judging by this fan’s pictures and videos.

However, that same supporter follows the green and white half of Glasgow and claims he gave Morelos – who was there with some teammates, including Glenn Middleton and Daniel Candeias – some stick.

According to the tweets, he actually almost ‘came close’ to Morelos too after the Rangers striker got a fellow Celtic fan chucked out of the venue:

Rangers will return to Scotland at some point in the coming days, where they’ll continue preparation for playing Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup next weekend.

That Friday night game takes place at Central Park and it may be an opportunity for Steven Gerrard to play Steven Davis and Jermain Defoe for the first time since their January moves north.
