Celtic Fans Have Been Tweeting Jeffery Bruma Asking Him to Join the Hoops

Celtic fans reckon they’ve solved the club’s problem position of centre-back and many are sending messages to Wolfsburg defender Jeffrey Bruma – and asking him to move to Parkhead.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been busy in the transfer market this week, having completed deals for Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Bayo, but the Scottish champions’ spending is unlikely to be over with more than three weeks remaining in the transfer window.

For several seasons now, Celtic have been in the market for a top centre-back, and with Dedryck Boyata looking very likely to be leaving at some point over the next six months, the need for defensive reinforcements is again an issue.

And Holland international Bruma, who has been linked with Celtic previously, is apparently the man who has been identified by the club’s supporters:

An ex-Chelsea and PSV player, Bruma is still only 27 but hasn’t started one solitary game this season as he struggles with injury – but do you think Bruma could still be the answer?
