Gary Neville Explains His ‘Do One’ Response to Paul Pogba’s Instagram Post

Gary Neville has explained the thinking behind his ‘do one’ response to Paul Pogba‘s Instagram post 45 minutes after Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United last month.

Mourinho and his most expensive signing Pogba were known to be at loggerheads with one another for some time, with the Frenchman an unused sub in the recent 3-1 defeat at arch-rivals Liverpool.

And once it was made public that the club’s hierarchy had decided to part ways with the Portuguese coach, Pogba posted a photo of himself smirking, along with the phrase ‘caption this’.

Given the state of the team, and the club’s horrendous season so far, Neville was in the mood to play along with any of Pogba’s games, nor was he about to dance on the grave of a freshly-sacked manager.

Appearing as a pundit during tonight’s clash between the Red Devils and Newcastle, Neville addressed the exchange, and gave his opinion on Pogba’s impressive recent performances:

What do you think of the situation?
