Hibs Fans Are Already Raving About Ryan Gauld After His Debut Today

Ryan Gauld made his Hibs debut this afternoon in the Scottish Cup – and it’s fair to say the club’s supporters have already taken the forward to their hearts.

The 23-year-old signed for the Edinburgh side earlier this week, on-loan for the rest of the season from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon, and Neil Lennon handed him a place in his starting XI for the visit of Elgin City.

The League Two part-timers didn’t put up much of a fight in the end, with the Hibees running out comfortable 4-0 winners, but Gauld’s class was there for all to see, regardless of the opposition.

The ex-Dundee United man set-up the opening goal of the game for Florian Kamberi, and there’s plenty of the club’s fans who reckon it won’t be the last time they see him tear open an opposition defence:

Just how important a player do you think Gauld could transpire to be for Hibs this season?
