Jurgen Klopp Raves About Kevin De Bruyne Ahead of Manchester City v Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is raving about Kevin de Bruyne ahead of Manchester City v Liverpool tomorrow night.

The German manager and his team will be confident going to the Etihad on Thursday night – buoyed by a brilliant 2018 and some particularly impressive form.

They lead Tottenham by eight points going into the game and City by seven so a victory could be huge for their title aspirations.

And you’d think their chances of getting a win would be much better with de Bruyne a doubt to appear in the game.

De Bruyne did train today, but Guardiola urged caution in his press conference today and a decision should be made closer to the game tomorrow.

Regardless of his fitness, Klopp is a fan – and shared that in his presser, per mirror.co.uk, before tomorrow’s game, saying: “De Bruyne is an outstanding player.

“Unbelievably influential, a world class player and he looks like a humble person. I expected that he would play.”

Klopp has never hidden his admiration for de Bruyne in the past so his praise of the City star should come as no surprise to anyone.
