Kaka Rates 2007 Goal v Celtic as His Third Best Ever

Kaka believes his 2007 goal against Celtic is one of his best ever.

The Brazilian superstar produced many magic moments in an illustrious career playing for AC Milan and Real Madrid.

A number come to mind, including his solo goal against Manchester United at Old Trafford and a beauty against Fenerbahce in 2005.

And while Kaka also rates those as two of his best, he has put the strike against Celtic back in 2007 up there too.

It was in a tight last 16 game between the sides, with the Hoops taking AC Milan to extra time before the Brazilian produced his moment.

Taking the ball in the centre circle, he shrugged off Neil Lennon before running past Stephen McManus to slip the ball past Artur Boruc.

And despite it being devastating for Celtic, it was a big moment for Kaka and Milan – one he remembers fondly now:

That was some goal!

Kaka would go on to lift the Ballon d’Or that year, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to the award.
