Nobody Can Believe Barcelona Are Signing Spurs Flop Kevin Price-Boateng

Barcelona are on the verge of signing Tottenham flop Kevin Prince-Boateng – and pretty much nobody can believe the journeyman is on his way to the Nou Camp.

Prince-Boateng has been plying his trade in Serie A with minnows Sassuolo since last summer, with the Italian club the 11th in his long and varied career so far.

At 31, Prince-Boateng is unquestionably past his best but Sky Sports are reporting that Barca have been looking to bolster their attacking options since allowing Munir El Haddadi to join Sevilla, and the Ghana international apparently fits their bill.

A minimal fee of £1.75 million has been mentioned, with Prince-Boateng expected to act as a back-up to Luis Suarez – much to the surprise of fans everywhere:

What do you think of Barcelona’s decision to pursue a player like Kevin Prince-Boateng? Is there any way the deal could turn out to be something of a masterstroke?
