Peterborough Owner Hints at Cutting Short Jason Cummings’ Loan Deal

Peterborough United appear to be exploring the possibility of cutting short Jason Cummings‘ loan deal at the club, as the striker continues to struggle at the League One club.

Scotland international Cummings joined the Posh on-loan initially for the entire season, after parent club Nottingham Forest made it clear he didn’t feature in their plans for the campaign, and he started off brightly in England’s third tier.

However, Cummings has seriously toiled of late, and has managed just two goals for Peterborough since September 1 – neither of which came in the league.

With his team chasing promotion to The Championship, the club’s owner Darragh McAnthony would understandably be keen to get a forward in who can score goals, and he suggested Cummings’ spell at London Road could be cut short, whilst responding to a fan on Twitter:

Cummings has been linked with a move back to his former club Hibs, but where do you think he’ll end up next month?
