Rangers fans are praising on-loan midfielder Greg Docherty after he apparently refused to join in with Shrewsbury Town‘s pre-match huddle yesterday.
The central midfielder has been in outstanding form in England’s League One this season, after being sent on a season-long loan by Gers boss Steven Gerrard last summer.
The 22-year-old has easily been on of Town’s best performers this season, and currently has seven goals to his name throughout the current campaign, but he couldn’t add to his tally in yesterday’s FA Cup draw at home to Stoke City.
Whilst he couldn’t further endear himself to Shrewbury fans, he did manage to impress supporters of his parent club, many of whom quickly spotted his pre-match behaviour:

For all we know, Docherty simply wanted to put his hands behind his back but as a lifelong Bear, we’re pretty confident he knew what he was doing.
Could Greg Docherty be a key player for Rangers next season?
