Timothy Weah Says It’s an ‘Honour’ to Sign For Celtic and Promises to ‘Play for the Crest’

Celtic‘s new signing Timothy Weah has spoken of his delight at joining the Hoops, and insists he can’t wait to play in-front of the club’s famous supporters.

The 18-year-old forward has joined the Premiership champions on a six-month loan deal from PSG, and joined up with Brendan Rodgers’ squad at their warm-weather training camp in Dubai yesterday.

And after sitting down with some of the Scottish media earlier today, the United States internationalist seems ready and raring to go after joining up with his new team-mates:

For a lad of only 18, Weah is already saying all of the right things, and we’re sure you’ll agree he talks with a sense of wisdom well beyond his years.

Weah could make his full debut for the Hoops in the Scottish Cup tie against Airdrie when the winter shutdown ends later this month, but what do you make of his arrival?

Could he be a key player in Celtic’s assault on eight-in-a-row?
