Alexis Sanchez produced a quality assist that Manchester United fans definitely want to see more of.
The Chilean attacker got a game from the start today as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men welcomed Reading to Old Trafford in the FA Cup.
The caretaker United manager has preferred other options in attack in the league games he’s been in charge of to begin his tenure.
But today was the perfect opportunity to give Sanchez a game.
And he rewarded his manager with a great assist for Romelu Lukaku to put the game out of Reading’s reach at the end of the first half.
Juan Mata had given United an early lead from the penalty spot, but the Championship battlers were having the better of the game after that.
Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t get a goal and Lukaku’s strike was a hammer blow going into half-time:

That was a great pass from Mata and Lukaku produced the goods to score.
Now United will move into the next round of the Cup and Solskjaer has made it five wins on the bounce since taking over.
