Video: Scott Arfield Explains His ‘Broony’ Celebration During Old Firm Victory

Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield has explained the thinking behind his goading celebration towards Scott Brown during the recent Old Firm, insisting actions were purely instinctive.

The Canada international has been in excellent form since moving to Ibrox from Burnley last summer, and put in a brilliant display in his side’s 1-0 victory over their bitter rivals.

But perhaps the overall highlight for Gers supporters was his interaction with the Celtic captain Brown in the closing stages of the contest, as he appeared to goad the Hoops skipper with his very own famous stance.

Well, speaking from the Rangers warm weather training base in Tenerife, Arfield has explained his actions to Sky Sports:

The win over their bitter enemies on December 29 leaves Arfield and his Rangers team-mates joint-top of the Premiership with Brendan Rodgers’ side, but do you think Arfield will be repeating his ‘Broony’ rendition with the league title come May?
