The Ibrox club ran out 3-2 victors over the Finnish champions in a match which was arranged as part of the deal to bring Alfredo Morelos to Glasgow back in 2017.
It was the first serious game of football Rangers have played since the Premiership’s winter break came to an end, and it came at the cost of losing left-back Borna Barisic.
The Croatian has had an injury-hit campaign since arriving in Scotland, and he was forced to hobble off towards the end of today’s game.
Afterwards, Gerrard was quizzed on his player’s injury status, and he didn’t seem too enamoured by his reaction:

Several Rangers fans on social media also picked up on Gerrard’s tone, with some speculating Barisic could be dropped from Gerrard’s preferred starting XI:
Wouldn't be surprised to see the back of barasic in the summer now tbh, looks to have a lot of ability but if you're watching that and thinking Gerrard is happy with him…. https://t.co/TfM6qSnYJt

SG didn’t seem too impressed with Barisic going down and looking badly injured, but apparently being fine after the match. https://t.co/2OGHv1pM07

Borna, one tap for each league title.
He does seem a bit grumpy with Barisic. Needs to man up it appears. https://t.co/xiZDL1o4zt

Andy Halliday has filled in at left-back for a lot of this season, so is he now the club’s first-choice option in that position?
