Video: Tom Rogic Slams Home Sensational Last-Gasp Winner For Australia

Australia needed Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic to dig them out of a hole this afternoon in their latest Asian Cup match, as the Socceroos’ bid to lift the trophy remains alive.

Having been shocked in a 1-0 defeat in their opening match against Jordan, Australia got back on track in their second group match against Palestine, running out 3-0 winner.

That set-up a must-win clash with Syria today, and it looked like Graham Arnold’s men were heading for an underwhelming draw when Omar Al Somah made it 2-2 for the Syrians from the penalty spot on 80 minutes.

However, Rogic had one last trick up his sleeve, and in the 93rd minute, he produced this little cracker to seal all three points for his side, and ensure qualification to the knockout rounds:

What do you think of the goal, and just how much have Celtic been missing Rogic whilst he’s been away with his country?
