Video: Watch Impressive Timothy Weah Score On His Celtic Debut

Timothy Weah was handed his Celtic debut this evening and he wasted absolutely no time in showing Hoops supporters exactly what he’s capable of.

The 18-year-old American international joined on a six-month loan from PSG earlier this month, and spent most of last week training with Brendan Rodgers’ side at their warm-weather training camp in Dubai.

Weah wasn’t included in the starting line-up for tonight’s Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at home to Airdrie, but he was brought on by Rodgers midway through the second-half by Rodgers, and he reacted brilliantly to a clever ball from Dedryck Boyata to poke the ball past a helpless David Hutton in the Airdrie goal:

He might only be 18, but Weah definitely looks like he has plenty to contribute between now and the end of the season.

But what did you make of his impressive cameo today, and should Celtic already be working on a deal to keep him for next season too?
