Celtic Start Bayo, Compper and Allan in Latest Reserve Match

Celtic Start Bayo, Compper and Allan in Latest Reserve Match

Celtic have fielded a pretty strong side in today’s Reserve League match against Falkirk, with new £2 million signing Vakoun Bayo starting up-front.

The Hoops’ back-up squad is usually the best place to spot some of the club’s most promising youngsters, with the likes of Karamoko Dembele and Jack Aitchison regulars.

However, whilst midfielder Armstrong Oko-Flex was included in the starting line-up, he was joined by a host of experienced first-team stars, with veteran goalie Dorus de Vries even getting himself a run out:

Bayo is definitely the headline inclusion, with the Ivory Coast international continuing his build-up before making his full debut for Brendan Rodgers’ first-team.

And it’s rare to see flop Marvin Compper play any kind of football at all, whilst Scott Allan is obviously keeping himself in decent shape ahead of his summer move to Hibs.

How do you think Bayo will do when he finally makes it into the senior squad?
