Rangers Fans Furious with Ticket Prices for Cup Replay

Rangers have announced the ticket prices for their upcoming Scottish Cup replay with Kilmarnock – and it’s fair to say the Ibrox club’s supporters are far from happy.

Steven Gerrard’s men will take on Steve Clarke’s side in Glasgow on Wednesday February 20 after both teams played out a drab 0-0 draw in their fifth-round tie last Friday night.

An average brief for the first meeting cost £27 per head, and Rangers’ supporter liaison officer Greg Marshall revealed on Twitter today that the price of the replay will be the same, meaning a large number of fans will be forced to fork out over £50 to watch one round of the Scottish Cup against Killie.

The reaction to the prices was pretty resounding:

What do you think of the prices? Should the club’s hierarchy do more to make going to Ibrox affordable to the working class fans, particularly in the cup matches?
