Spurs Fans Want ‘Bottle Job’ Hugo Lloris Dropped After Chelsea Clanger

Spurs Fans Want ‘Bottle Job’ Hugo Lloris Dropped After Chelsea Clanger

Tottenham Hotspur fans watched on in disbelief tonight as their World Cup-winning goalie dropped another clanger in a high-profile match – and it seems Hugo Lloris‘s latest error is one too many for some supporters.

Spurs went into tonight’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge knowing they realistically needed a win to keep alive their slim hopes of winning the Premier League this season, and a stuffy first-half left it all to play for in the second 45.

The game could’ve went either way but it just before the hour mark that the contest swung Chelsea’s way, as winger Pedro smashed an unlikely effort straight at Lloris – only for the ball to squirm through his legs from close range.

As you can probably imagine, the response on social media was pretty damning towards the Frenchman:

In the end, it finished 2-0 to Chelsea, but do you think Lloris’s time as Spurs first-choice goalkeeper is over? And does he deserve the stick he’s getting for tonight’s error?
