Armstrong Oko-Flex scored a beauty for Celtic‘s reserve team yesterday as they beat Falkirk.
It was a strong team named by Tommy McIntyre as several first team squad players dropped down to get some game time at Cappielow.
Scott Allan, Marvin Compper and Vakoun Issouf Bayo were the standout names on the team sheet, but there were also a number of young players included in the team.
And that included Oko-Flex, who joined Celtic in the summer after rejecting the chance to stay with Arsenal.
He’s trained with the first team already despite being just 16 and his two-goal show in the 4-1 win over Falkirk could interest Brendan Rodgers a lot.
Oko-Flex scored a penalty late in the game, but the standout moment came earlier when he curled a beautiful strike into the bottom corner:
Jack Aitchison had to start on the bench with new January signing Bayo getting some game time, but he was thrown on early due to an injury.
And he returned two nice goals in the victory:
Celtic certainly look like they have some talent in the reserves at the moment – with Oko-Flex leading the way.
