Arsene Wenger gave a brilliant tactical take on Manchester United against Paris Saint-Germain last night.
The former Arsenal manager appeared on beIN SPORTS’ coverage of the Champions League last 16 first leg clash at Old Trafford.
He’s been busy doing TV work since leaving Arsenal in the summer and many will still have the same image of him struggling in the Gunners dugout over recent years.
But Wenger is still one of the best coaches in the world and his tactical take on the first half of last night’s game shows that.
Wenger broke down why United and PSG were locked at 0-0 in the first half and actually predicted (sort of) what could go wrong in the second half:
Wenger has been linked with a number of top jobs since leaving Arsenal in the summer, including PSG.
But he’s so far stayed away from the game, apart from his television work.
Wenger is likely to continue working for beIN SPORTS between now and the end of the season, but a decision on his managerial future could come in the summer.
