He might not be able to string a sentence together in English, but Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker can already pull off a pretty impressive Scouse accent.

The Brazil No.1 has established himself as undoubtedly the Reds’ first-choice since moving to the Premier League from Roma last summer in a deal worth around £67 million.

At the time, it made him the world’s most expensive goalkeeper, and his assured displays between the sticks this season have played a key part in Liverpool’s challenge for the title, whilst also suggesting the sizeable fee could turn out to be an absolute bargain.

But just in case there are any Liverpool fans out there who haven’t been fully convinced by Alisson yet, he’s managed to endear himself further to supporters by showing off his new Merseyside inflection:

Pretty impressive, eh? Do you think Alisson and his team-mates will be crowned English champions come May?
