Rangers youngster Nathan Young-Coombes has had a brilliant week at the ALKASS International Cup – and has had another goal to his record today.
The Gers Under 17 team are out in Qatar for the tournament, competing against the likes of Raja Club Athletic, Etoile sportive du Sahel (ESS) and Aspire Academy.
Young-Coombes has already got three goals so far, scoring a hat-trick in a 7-0 win over ESS yesterday.
And today he made it four goals, with a brilliant solo strike against Kashiwa in the semi-finals:
Young-Coombes was only signed by Rangers at the start of February, joining from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal.
And his performances out in Qatar will definitely excite the Rangers faithful.
Just a year ago they signed Glenn Middleton in a similar deal from Norwich and he’s since went on to break into the Rangers first team and play a valuable part in Steven Gerrard’s side so far this season.
