Ryan Christie produced a goal and an assist as Celtic beat Hibs 2-0 last night.

The Scottish playmaker has emerged as one of Brendan Rodgers’ most important players this season and continued his fine run of recent form with an influential display at Celtic Park.

The Hoops went into the game knowing they needed to continue winning if they were to at least maintain their place at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

And they did exactly that, coasting to the 2-0 victory.

There were several top performers in the game, including Timo Weah, Oliver Burke, Callum McGregor and Jeremy Toljan.

But Christie produced a man of the match display to help Celtic to the win – scoring the opener himself before assisting Burke for the second goal of the game:

Celtic maintained their six-point lead over Rangers with the win as their Glasgow rivals also won – coming out as 4-2 winners in an entertaining game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
