The Ibrox winger was very influential as Steven Gerrard’s came out on top in a hugely entertaining game at Pittodrie.
The game ended 4-2 to Rangers, with two penalties and two red cards providing the biggest talking points of the action.
But Kent’s quality on the ball played a part too, with the on-loan Liverpool man having the shot that was rebounded into Alfredo Morelos’ path for the first goal before he set up the Colombian striker for the second.
And he believes that is a big message sent to the rest of the Scottish Premiership with that win:
James Tavernier scored Rangers’ third on the night to make it 3-1 after Sam Cosgrove pulled one back for the Dons.
Cosgrove actually got a second a minute into the second half, but Aberdeen just couldn’t get that equaliser before Jermain Defoe scored in injury time to secure a 4-2 win for Rangers.
