Video: Stephen Dobbie Scores Absolutely Outrageous Goal Against Aberdeen

Veteran striker Stephen Dobbie continued his incredible season for Queen of the South this afternoon by scoring an absolutely outrageous long-range goal against Aberdeen.

The former Swansea, Crystal Palace and Bolton striker is now 36, and is currently enjoying something of an Indian Summer with his boyhood club, and the Dons discovered to their cost just how in-form he’s been in today’s Scottish Cup fifth-round tie at Pittodrie.

Niall McGinn opened the scoring for the home side and looked as though he’d set his team on their way to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals, but Dobbie had other plans, and promptly set about hammering home what must be considered on of the best goals scored in Scotland so far this season:

In case you’re wondering, that’s now a remarkable 38 goals in all competitions for Dobbie this season, and it’s even more remarkable when you take into account the fact he’s only actually played in 32 games.

What do you think of the goal?
