Video: Vinicius Junior Conjures up Brilliant Assist For Real Madrid Goal v Ajax

Real Madrid prodigy Vinicius Junior truly announced himself on the European stage tonight by coming up with a superb piece of skill to lay on a goal for Karim Benzema.

The 18-year-old Brazilian attracted worldwide headlines when Los Blancos agreed to pay Flamengo a fee in the region of £40 million when he was just 16, but the early signs suggest he could be about to fulfil his undoubted potential.

Junior was chosen to start this evening’s tricky Champions League last-16 tie away to Ajax, and after spending much of the night in Amsterdam under the cosh, the teenager provided a sultry slice of skill, and Benzema provided one of his trademark pin-point finishes:
