Big Boost For Celtic Fans as Key Pair Train Ahead of Rangers Game Despite Injury Rumours

Celtic fans have been given a big boost ahead of their clash with Rangers at the weekend as a key pair trained despite rumours they’d miss out through injury.

The Hoops take on their Glasgow rivals at Celtic Park hoping to get a victory that moves them 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

And with that lead, you’d assume that would put Neil Lennon’s side out of reach in the title race.

Celtic have a number of players returning from injury after the international break, but they still have a few with injury doubts.

The names that had most fans worried going into Sunday’s game were Olivier Ntcham and James Forrest.

The former hasn’t played since the 1-0 defeat to Rangers in December and some thought this weekend’s game might come too soon for him.

While the latter appeared to pick up a knock on international duty with Scotland that would keep him out of Sunday.

But both trained for Celtic today – and it looks like they’ll be good to go for Sunday’s game:

With Tom Rogic still searching for match fitness and Ryan Christie out injured, Ntcham’s return gives Lennon another midfield option.
