Chelsea Fans Have Been Left Gutted by Zidane’s Shock Return to Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane has been confirmed as the Real Madrid manager tonight for the second time in his illustrious career – and the shock news has left supporters of Chelsea pretty devastated.

Having won three consecutive Champions League titles, as well as La Liga in 2017, Zidane left the Bernabeu last summer as a Los Blancos hero and had been linked with the manager’s hot-seat at Stamford Bridge.

But today’s announcement means not only will the World Cup winner not be replacing Maurizio Sarri, but Zidane will also almost certainly be making a move for Eden Hazard this summer.

Hazard has been repeatedly linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past, and has openly spoke about how Zidane is his footballing idol – and there’s plenty of Blues fans who can see the writing on the walls:

Do you think Hazard leaving for the Spanish capital is inevitable now that Zidane is back in the picture?
