Don Hutchison has raved about Rangers fans after playing against a legends team today.
The former Scotland international retired with 26 caps for the Tartan Army, but didn’t play club football north of the border.
In his career, he appeared for Liverpool, West Ham, Sheffield United and Everton among others.
And he’s experienced some brilliant supports while playing for those clubs.
But one side he wishes he’d played for is Rangers after seeing how dedicated their fans are today.
A Premier League legends XI went up against a Rangers side at Blackpool this afternoon and Hutchison was involved.
It was after the game that Hutchison shared his high praise for the Gers faithful who turned up to support the charity game, which was in aid of Fernando Ricksen and his fight against ALS:
Taking 10,000 fans to a legends games all the way down in Blackpool is seriously impressive – and all those who attended should be applauded.
