Any England fan trying to enter the home end of the Gradski Stadium tonight will be tested to see if they can speak Montenegrin, as police look to weed out any supporters trying to gain access to the wrong end of the ground.
Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions side have travelled to Montenegro for this evening’s crucial Euro 2020 qualifier, following Friday night’s impressive 5-0 thrashing of the Czech Republic at Wembley.
England have been allocated around 650 tickets for the game but Sky Sports are reporting that around 100 fans have bought briefs meant for the home section but it seems they’ll face a pretty tough time getting through the entrance gates.
Sky claim authorities are taking the segregation rules so seriously that they will quiz any suspicious-looking supporters with various questions in
Montenegrin – and if they can’t answer, they will be swiftly ejected by police.
What do you think of the plans? Will they work?
