The Scotland international – who has totalled £28million in transfers – hit a dip in his career after joining RB Leipzig in 2016.

But he has found his form in Glasgow and has now stated that if it was up to him, he would be a Celtic player next season.

West Brom currently parted company with Darren Moore who had previously stated Burke would return to the Hawthorns next season.

And Burke says he will sit down with his agent to ‘sort something out’ as he hopes to return to Parkhead when his loan spell expires in the summer.

With West Brom splashing out £15m on the 21-year-old two years ago, there is a chance Celtic may need to smash their transfer record for the second year running.

Hoops fans – would you be happy with the permanent signing of Burke?

And how much would you be willing to spend to secure his services?
