Karamoko Dembele to Be on the Celtic Bench For Trip to Hibs?

Rumours are swirling that Karamoko Dembele will be on the bench for Celtic‘s trip to Hibs in the Scottish Cup this evening.

The young winger has been exciting Hoops fans for the last few years ever since his emergence as one of the top talents in their youth academy.

He earned mainstream attention after appearing for the Celtic Under 20 team as a 13-year-old back in 2016.

Since then, he’s signed a pro contract for Celtic, trained with their first team and turned 16 last week – reaching the age minimum for playing in the SPFL.

And after starring for the club’s reserves in a 1-0 win over Kilmarnock at the start of the week, it looks like Dembele could be seen on the bench tonight – if the rumours are true.

There’s a lot of talk about it on Twitter and fans will be patiently waiting for the team sheet to see if he makes it:

It could all be fan speculation – or hope even – but it would be a big call from Neil Lennon if he were to hand Dembele a spot on the bench.

Hibs are a team in form going into tonight’s Scottish Cup tie and should be a big test for the current holders.
